EUnetHorse is a H2020 project funded by the European Union. The project Consortium, formed by 15 partners, is committed to protecting your privacy and personal data, as user of our website www.eunethorse.eu.

Any personal data you provide will be processed in compliance with relevant EU and national data protection laws. By agreeing to submit your information to EUnetHorse, we will process your personal data in accordance with the purposes, requirements and restrictions defined below

What do we use your personal information for?

  • Inform about the different networking, academic and research activities promoted by EUnetHorse through newsletters, infographics, flyers and policy briefs.
  • Registration to EUnetHorse events (workshops, meetings, conferences, other events)

What personal information do we collect?

For the sole purpose of each activity, duly informed in the framework of the same, the only data EUnetHorse will collected are:

  • (a) First and last name
  • (b) Email

On a voluntary basis, the institution, telephone number and postal address may be provided for the relevant purposes of communication in relation to the activities of the project.

Why do we use your personal information?

The legal basis that allows EUnetHorse process your personal data is the consent you have given to complete and send the forms enabled on the website as well as clicking on the appropriate box for the receipt of our newsletters that is duly recorded in a form to that effect.

EUnetHorse does not provide your personal data to third parties, unless it is necessary to comply with a legal mandate.

How long will we keep your personal information?

Your personal information will be used until the purpose for which it was collected ends or the end of the project; it may be archived per contractual requirement for up to five years after the end of the project (28 February 2027) or until you withdraw your consent, after which point it will be deleted.

What are your rights when you provide EUnetHorse your personal data?

You have the right to request from the controllers’ access to the personal data we have that pertains to you.

The right to request the controllers to rectify any errors in your personal data to ensure its accuracy.

The right to request the controllers to erase your personal data.

The right to request the controllers to restrict the future processing of your personal data, or to object to its processing.

The right to data portability — upon request the data controller should provide you with a copy of all data we have regarding you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.

As the processing of your personal data occurs based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time and we will cease further processing activities involving your personal data. However, please note that this will not affect the lawfulness of any processing already performed before you withdraw your consent.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, such as your national data protection authority.

Newsletter

If you wish to receive useful information on EUnetHorse activities, you can subscribe to our newsletter via the website. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter any time.

  • The purpose of data processing: sending of an electronic newsletter – provision of information on EUnetHorse activities.
  • The scope of the data processed: first name, last name and email address.
  • The legal basis of data processing: the consent of the data subject.
  • The term of data processing: until the cancellation of your subscription to the newsletter, but maximum 5 years.

We would like to keep you up to date, by email, with details of our services using the information that you have supplied, but only with your permission. You have a right at any time to stop us from contacting you – just send us an email to eunethorse@ehu.eus indicating ‘unsubscribe’ in the ‘subject section’.

How can you exercise your rights?

Marlène Addes

FRENCH NATIONAL FACILITATOR

Agricultural Engineer specialized in animal production, and EUnetHorse project coordinator.

She works since 2017 in the Development, Innovation, Research Department of the IFCE on the management of transversal projects, the animation of networks, the launch of National Calls for R&D Projects until the contracting of R&D projects (Scientific Council of the French equine sector), and the evaluation of the impact of R&D projects.

Jean Philippe Lejeune

BELGIAN NATIONAL FACILITATOR

Mont-Le-Soie Centre européen du Cheval.

Veterinarian, and director of Mont Le Soie.

He is a veterinarian graduated from the University of Liège. He completed a PhD thesis titled Juvenile osteoarthritis in the Ardennes draft horse. His main interests and expertise domains are a specialization in horse biomechanics (locomotor system), a knowledge of veterinary medicine, physiology and equine anatomy alongside knowledge of sporting aspects, equestrian competitions and an educational approach to horse riding. He also carries out a small horse breeding and boarding business. All his activities have led him to know the equestrian industry in his country well. In this project, he is the leader of two tasks: identification of the needs of farmers in each type of production context at NH-AKIS (Task 2.1), and identification of existing solutions and good practices at NH-AKIS and EU levels (Task 2.2).
