PhD in Animal Breeding, and principal research scientist at Welfare of Farmed Animals research group.
He has conducted his PhD degree in 1997 in Animal Breeding and Genetics, the thesis dealt with breeding evaluation of trotters. He is currently working as a principal research scientist in Lukes’ Welfare of Farmed Animals research group. His research area concerns equine science widely, currently focused on sustainable horse breeding and husbandry. In the present project, he is the leader of dealing with identification of the gaps on national and European level (Task 2.4).
